From Sunday 8 to Tuesday 10 November 2026, growers, exporters, buyers, logistics leaders and investors meet at the TGT Grounds in Arusha, just 2 km from Arusha Airport. Come to source, sell, learn and leave with partners you'll work with for years. Early November brings Arusha's short rains, so pack a light rain jacket for the outdoor grounds.

The main international airport for Arusha, about an hour by road from the venue.
Served by regional and international airlines, with easy connections through hubs such as Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Doha and Istanbul. Check current routes with your airline.

Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA)
Tanzania’s largest international airport, in Dar es Salaam, about 600 km from Arusha. Not within driving distance of the fair.
If your flight lands here, connect on a short domestic flight (about 1 hour) to Kilimanjaro (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK).

A smaller airport about 2 km from the venue, for flights within Tanzania.
Domestic flights arrive from Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, and it is the easiest way to fly on to the Serengeti after the fair.

Weather
Early November is the start of the short rains: mostly brief afternoon or evening showers between sunny spells, around 15–27°C. Pack a light rain jacket or umbrella and comfortable closed shoes for the outdoor grounds.
Currency
Tanzanian Shilling (TZS). US Dollars are widely accepted at hotels and tour companies, and ATMs in Arusha dispense shillings.
Health
A yellow fever certificate is required if you arrive from, or transit through, a yellow fever risk country. Malaria protection is recommended; drink bottled water.
Safety
Arusha is a welcoming city for visitors. After dark, use a registered taxi or your hotel’s driver.
Swahili and English are both widely spoken, the time zone is EAT (UTC+3), sockets are mostly UK-style Type G at 230 V, and local SIM cards are sold at the airport (bring your passport to register one). Tipping is appreciated but not expected.
